Volunteers Rock!
Volunteers help ensure maximum fun and a successful race day, plus it just feels good to help the runners reach their goals! Our volunteers also get access to exclusive perks for donating their time, and we’re told time and time again by returning volunteers that they like to volunteer with Daybreak because they know they’re going to be safe, have fun and be taken care of.
To volunteer at any event, click on the “REGISTER” button at the top of any race’s webpage, then click the green “Volunteer ♡” button in Ultrasignup to view tasks and sign up! (If you don’t see the volunteer button, we haven’t posted the tasks yet). As we get closer to the race date, we’ll confirm your volunteer task with you, then email you approximately 10 days prior to the race with specific timeline and task instructions.

Post-race food and beverage
An amazing experience supporting fellow runners and immersing oneself in the best sport ever!
Swag item such as a race shirt or hat for full day task (8+ hours).
Race credit toward a future Daybreak Racing event (generally a race entry coupon code worth up to $50 value off a race entry for completing a <4 hour task or $75 credit for a >4 hr task. Sweepers and others who volunteer 8+ hours receive a free entry code worth up to $150 credit. Use of a discount code is optional, not automatically assigned.
*These benefits to volunteers are optional and meant to encourage volunteerism and celebrate the event taking place, and in no way represents any form of transaction, income, payment, employment or contract.
Race credit redemption has the following conditions:
Only volunteers who sign up in advance and complete a task for the full stated timeframe will be offered these benefits.
Credit is issued AFTER the event is concluded where the volunteering took place.
Use of a discount code is optional, not automatically assigned.
Credit is not to be considered a payment, reimbursement or compensation.
Credit expires within one year of issuance.
No credit transfers to anyone else.
Redeemed only during registration for a Daybreak race.
Cannot be retroactively applied to an existing race registration (no refunds).
Credit has no actual cash value.
