2026 Event Schedule

As fall reaches full swing here in the Pacific NW, we want to respond to everyone asking about our plans for next year. 2025 was hand downs our most successful and ambitious year to date. As we look to 2026, our goal is to always learn from our successes and mistakes, so we can meaningfully evolve, gain greater proficiency and hopefully, increase our relevance in this rapidly growing and changing sport. We are always seeking ways to elevate our events, and add more value for our participants, volunteers and the communities we impact, while also lowering barriers and opening up more opportunities for those who are new to the sport of trail running.

Whether it is forging new community partnerships, new sponsorships, adjusting and modifying our race courses to make them better, safer, and more sustainable, it’s safe to say you’ll never find us resting on our laurels. We are not pro athletes or big brands, but we are trail running ambassadors, public land stewards and event directors who take our role in the trail running realm seriously, while also trying our darnedest to NOT take ourselves too seriously ;)

Without further ado, here is our planned schedule of events for 2026:

Siuslaw Dunes / March 7 / Registration is OPEN
Races: 50K, 20 miler, 12K / Oregon Coast
’26 Updates: Like every year, we kick off our season on our childhood stomping grounds. It’s a fantastic rust buster for us and all the runners looking for something a bit untamed and nontraditional. Event logistics remain largely the same as 2025. We’ll have a few minor adjustments to the 50K and 20 miler based on course conditions and high tide timing.

The Big Alta / March 20-21-22/ Registration is OPEN and selling quickly
Races: 100K, 50K & 28K / Marin County, California
’26 Updates: After a few years of dreaming and planning, we’ve finally added our point-to-point 100K to the mix, making this a 3-day trailfest! The 50K moves to Friday, the 100K on Saturday and the 28K on Sunday of race weekend.

Gorge Waterfalls / April 10-11-12 / Registration is OPEN and selling quickly
100K, 50K, 30K / Columbia Gorge, OR
’26 Updates: No major changes from 2025. The 100K gets an exciting and overdue upgrade with the inclusion of a 10-mile lollipop loop at the Wyeth (east side) zone of the course, helping to lower cross traffic on the trails during the later miles. The 100K continues as a Western States Qualifier.

Tillamook Burn / May 16-17 / Registration opens November 3rd
50 miler, 55K / Oregon Coast Range
’26 Updates: Big changes for the Burn! The 50 miler gets a few more miles of new singletrack trail in place of forest road. The 50K out n back becomes a “new” 55K lollipop course, helping pretty much eliminate cross traffic on the trail. The 20 miler goes on hiatus unfortunately. With us hosting two large 3-day events earlier in the spring, it becomes untenable for our team to maintain the 3-day format at the Burn.

Cape Mountain / On hiatus for 2026
50K, 25K, 10K / Oregon Coast
’26 Updates: Due to several important family commitments in late May and through June next year, we’ve determined Cape Mountain is not feasible for us to produce in 2026 Keep an eye out for the return in 2027.

Hood Hundred / August 1-2 / Registration opens December 1st
Races: 100 Miler / Mt. Hood, OR
’26 Updates: We’re back in August instead of late July due to an unexpected booking conflict with the staging venue at Mt. Hood Meadows. The event will definitely resume on the last full weekend of July 2027 through at least 2030, as we’ve now paid booking deposits through then to avoid future mixups. The course and cutoffs will remain unchanged, but we’ve added a new Service Requirement and we’ll be modifying crew access rules to prevent overcrowding and parking issues at some of the earlier aid stations. Hood Hundred continues as a Western States Qualifier.

Wy'east Trailfest / August 15-16 / Registration opens January 1st
Races: 50 Miler, 50K, 28K, 14K, Trail Half Marathon, 8K, Kids Race / Mt. Hood, OR
’26 Updates: No major changes to this beautiful alpine beast, but we do have something cooking to help heat up the competition and prize purses.

Backcountry Rise / August 29 / Registration opens January 15th
Races: 50K, 20 miler, Half Marathon / Mt. St. Helens, WA
’26 Updates: Backcountry Rise becomes a 1-day event with lots of fun pre-race activities the Friday evening beforehand. We’ll continue with the alternate courses for one more year while we wait for major highway repairs to be completed through the spring/summer/fall of 2026 that have kept Johnston Ridge Observatory closed and inaccessible since May 2023. In 2027 we’ll resume with the classic courses!

Bachelor Ascent / September 12 / Registration opens February 1st
Races: 50K, 28K, 16K, Vertical 5K / Mt. Bachelor, OR
’26 Update: A new event for us! We’re so thrilled to finally have an event in the Central Oregon area. These courses are pretty spectacular and we’re confident they’ll blow everyone’s minds!

Perpetua Coast / October 3-4 / Registration opens March 1st
Races: 50K, 20 miler, Half Marathon and NEW 10K / Oregon Coast
’26 Updates: We’ve shuffled the race line up a bit! The 20 miler moves to Saturday and will coincide with the 50K. The point to point half marathon stays on Sunday, where we’ve also added a NEW point-to-point 10K!

Rogue Gorge / October 17-18 / Registration opens April 1st
Races: 50 Miler, 50K, Half Marathon & 12K / Southern Oregon Cascades
’26 Updates: Daily schedules stay the same, but the 50K joins the 50 miler as a point-to-point as well!

Thunder River / November 7 / Registration opens May 1st
Races: 50K, 25K / Columbia Gorge, OR
’26 Updates: No changes expected from the 2025 timeframe and logisitics.
